cucumber-lime drink
fresh, cooling, and perfectly sweet - the ultimate homemade summer drink!
Mar 4, 2024
This cucumber lime drink is light, refreshing, and made with simple ingredients we always have at home. It’s the kind of drink that feels fancy but takes just minutes to make — perfect for warm days, family gatherings, or just because.
Ingredients
2 English cucumbers
½ cup agave syrup (adjust to taste)
Juice of 7 fresh limes
1.5 liters cold water
Ice, for serving
Optional, but highly encouraged:
Fresh mint
Thin lime slices
A cute glass because presentation matters
lets make it!
Peel the cucumbers (or don’t — we’re relaxed here) and roughly chop.
Add cucumbers, lime juice, agave, and about 1 cup of the water into a blender.
Blend until smooth and beautifully green.
Strain if you want it silky. Skip if you like a little texture — we support personality.
Pour into a pitcher and add the remaining water.
Stir, taste, adjust sweetness if needed.
Serve over ice and admire your work.
Notes from My Kitchen
The sweetness depends on your limes. Some are bold. Some are dramatic. Adjust accordingly.
If you’re hosting, make it ahead and let it chill for at least 30 minutes — the flavors deepen beautifully.
For sparkle, replace part of the water with sparkling water right before serving.
